Datscha started as a project at property consultancy Newsec in 1996 under the name FastInfo. Until that time, the property market had lacked professional tools. Information was inaccessible, processes were time-consuming and turnover speed was slow.
With FastInfo, the user was able to handle information about the property market, make analyses and value properties. In 2000, a separate corporation, Datscha AB, was formed and October 31st the service was available on the internet. Today more than 300 companies use Datscha, giving it a leading position in Sweden.
